STATE MINISTRY OF WORKS PARTNERS FERMA, SOLICITS FOR FEDERAL INTERVENTION.
The Benue State Government through the Ministry of Works, Housing and Urban Development has gone into partnership with the Federal Road Maintenance Agency FERMA to address roads deficit in the state.
The honorable Commissioner, Hon. Tiza Isaac Imojime Orya who was at the FERMA headquarters, Abuja with the Technical Adviser to the governor on Infrastructure, Engr. Mlumun Ikpa-Hindi while conveying the Governor's regards, explained the deplorable state of roads in Benue.
He said, "we are here on the directives of the Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia who is giving so much attention to road infrastructure and concerned about the deplorable state of federal roads in the state to collaborate with your Agency for intervention.
The commissioner decried about the poor condition of the federal roads in the state which has become a deathtrap for motorists, citing the Wurukum - Air Force Base, sections of Yandev - Kastina Ala, Otukpo and among other roads, calling on the FERMA Boss to quickly wage in.
Responding, the FERMA Managing Director, Engr.
